A LAKESIDE ATTRACTION On Friday afternoon of this week an event that will enlist the cordial sympathy and support of very many will take place at Cedarhurst, Cedarville, the summer residence of Judge and Mrs. R. Stanley Weir. The young people have planned for a lawn fete in aid of the Machine Gun Fund and the special feature of the afternoon will be the presentation of a little play by Lena Dalkeith, entitles “Sir Gareth of Orkney.” The play is based upon the well-known story of Sir Gareth, taken from The Knights of the Round Table, and is arranged to suit the style and capacity of juvenile actors. It was recently presented at a garden party given by Mrs. Heaton of Westmount and elicited many appreciative comments.
