Coaticook Area Senior Citizen’s Club’s News
again we will be starting our monthly meeting for the English seniors (and as you know, seniors are 50+) at the Centre Elie-Carrier on Merril street on October 20th, 2015. But in the meantime, the September meeting will be on the 22nd at the Coaticook Golf Club. A social time starting with exchanging news of our summer during a delicious salad luncheon starting at noon. The beautiful view by itself is worth joining us. Bring a friend, everyone is welcomed. We normally phone the members a week in advance but for September, please RSVP with Shirley Desruisseaux at 819-8496170 before September 19th.
Club started in the 70’s and we are the only English group in the Coaticook area. We are trying to keep our presence alive in the community. French speaking seniors are always welcomed.
gather on the third Tuesday of each month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a social time that includes dinner and a variety of other things like stories, a special speaker when possible, games, cards, displays (crafts or other), door prizes and always a birthday cake. We phone the members the week before the meeting to know how many will attend so we can give notice to the cook. RVSP’s must be made at all times, one week before. If you can’t come after giving your name, you must advise Shirley Desruisseaux at 819-849-6170. Anyone can attend and members often bring guests.
closing with a reminder that the September meeting is special and will be on the 22nd at the Coaticook Golf Club (660 Merrill St.).

Holy Spirit, you who makes everything clear to me, who enlightens all paths, leading to my ideal, who gives me the divine gifts of forgiveness, forgetting the wrongs done by me and who is with me every moment of my life. Thank you for your mercy towards me and those dear to me. (This prayer should be said during three consecutive days. The grace requested will be obtained following the three days of prayer.
