Foresta Lumina Reaches Target Visitors
In 2014, it was 72,000 visitors who were seduced by Lumina Foresta and this year was none less! On August 29, the 100 000th visitor entered the enchanted forest to the delight of management. Mr. Simon Madore, president of the Coaticook Gorge
Development Corporation handed to Christian Bonneau and his family a Gift set of Foresta Lumina products. Mr. Bonneau smilingly said: "I usually never win anything. I am very happy tonight!" The Bonneau family took advantage of their stay at the camping to hiking and visit Foresta Lumina. A stay that will certainly be a beautiful memory for the whole family. "The target for 2015 was 100 000 visitors and it's mission accomplished! By adding the total visitors during 2014 Foresta Lumina has greeted 172 000 visitors during 120 days of operation and the season is not over! We can be proud!" emphasizes Caroline Wise. Visitor traffic is still up at the Parcs de la Gorge et Découverte Nature with packages including Foresta Lumina. The contribution of these visitors is also felt in the Eastern Townships are and the City of Coaticook. The latter has even recently opened a touch of Foresta Lumina downtown. "A nice way to improve the visitor's experience and encourage them to take the free shuttle from ACTIBUS downtown to Park Coaticook Gorge "says Simon Madore.
A great reason to stay up past bedtime, four Foresta Lumina goers seen here preparing to enjoy the lights and more it has to offer.
