Foresta Lu­mina Reaches Tar­get Visi­tors

In 2014, it was 72,000 visi­tors who were se­duced by Lu­mina Foresta and this year was none less! On Au­gust 29, the 100 000th visi­tor en­tered the en­chanted for­est to the de­light of man­age­ment. Mr. Si­mon Madore, pres­i­dent of the Coat­i­cook Gorge

De­vel­op­ment Cor­po­ra­tion handed to Chris­tian Bon­neau and his fam­ily a Gift set of Foresta Lu­mina prod­ucts. Mr. Bon­neau smil­ingly said: "I usu­ally never win any­thing. I am very happy tonight!" The Bon­neau fam­ily took ad­van­tage of their stay at the camp­ing to hik­ing and visit Foresta Lu­mina. A stay that will cer­tainly be a beau­ti­ful mem­ory for the whole fam­ily. "The tar­get for 2015 was 100 000 visi­tors and it's mis­sion ac­com­plished! By adding the to­tal visi­tors dur­ing 2014 Foresta Lu­mina has greeted 172 000 visi­tors dur­ing 120 days of op­er­a­tion and the sea­son is not over! We can be proud!" em­pha­sizes Caro­line Wise. Visi­tor traf­fic is still up at the Parcs de la Gorge et Dé­cou­verte Na­ture with pack­ages in­clud­ing Foresta Lu­mina. The con­tri­bu­tion of these visi­tors is also felt in the Eastern Town­ships are and the City of Coat­i­cook. The lat­ter has even re­cently opened a touch of Foresta Lu­mina down­town.
