the goldfish race to raise fund for the Border minor Hockey was a sure hit!
The 20th final of the Jeux équestres du Québec, organized by the Fédération équestre du Québec, featured more than 300 riders and eight regional teams. After three days of competition at the Parc équestre olympique de Bromont, the Estrie team, directed by Claudia Lyne Cuerrier and Anne Goyer, made it to the third podium position with a total of forty points. The team also received two bronze medals and a silver.
Team members from the area were: Éloise Brulotte Dulude (Magog), gold and silver medal; Marie-Claude Talbot (Sherbrooke), gold medal; Daphnée Houle (Magog), gold medal; Sarah Nault (Sherbrooke), bronze medal; Agatha Franck (Bolton), bronze medal; Sarah Baril-Bergeron (Magog), 2nd and 6th position; Marianne Genest (Eastman), 2nd and 4th position; Daphnée Lussier (Sherbrooke), 2nd and 6th position; Chloé Coupal (Mansonville), 8th position.
The equestrian team from the Estrie region finished the Jeux équestres du Québec, held last weekend in Bromont, on the podium in third position.
