New Ac­tion Plan for en­vi­ron­ment

The Mem­phrem­a­gog MRC has adopted its 5th ac­tion plan for the en­vi­ron­ment. The plan, which will span 2016 to 2020, has five ob­jec­tives: knowl­edge ac­qui­si­tion; rais­ing aware­ness; tech­ni­cal sup­port; di­a­logue; mon­i­tor­ing and fol­lowup; and work­ing on the is­sues of en­vi­ron­ment pro­tec­tion, wa­ter pro­tec­tion, pro­tec­tion of bio­di­ver­sity and nat­u­ral her­itage, fight agains cli­mate change, energy ef­fi­ciency and waste man­age­ment.
