Po­lice News – Op­er­a­tion Ci­saille con­tin­ues

De­tec­tives with the Sûreté du Québec’s BromeMis­sisquoi post car­ried out an Op­er­a­tion Ci­saille 2.0 last week, find­ing more than four hun­dred cannabis plants on a prop­erty near chemin Molleur, in Pike River. The plants were in groups of sev­eral dozen, in a field of corn. The in­ves­ti­ga­tion is con­tin­u­ing. Two other prop­er­ties on chemin Dubois in Pike River were vis­ited and of­fi­cers found another dozen plants. The two res­i­dents on the prop­er­ties were ar­rested.

Forty ma­ture cannabis plants were found by of­fi­cers with the Sûreté du Québec of the Mem­phré­m­a­gog MRC on a prop­erty on chemin des Loy­al­istes, in South Stukely. The owner of the prop­erty, a 57 year-old man, was ar­rested. The plan­ta­tion was spot­ted from a Cana­dian Forces he­li­copter, in part­ner­ship with the Sûreté du Québec.
