Visit Stanstead’s ‘CarnEVIL’ – if you dare

Stanstead Journal - - NEWS BRIEFS -

The members of the Stanstead Recreation Association and the many volunteers who help out have pulled out all the stops for this year’s Halloween event, taking place at the former Beebe Caisse on Saturday night from 6:00 to 9:00 pm. The ‘CarnEVIL’ is said to be so scary that children under ten are not encouraged to go, but luckily there is another Halloween event at the Stanstead youth centre, on Saturday evening, that won’t give them as many nightmares.

Phil Desormeaux has offered to be the artistic director of the Halloween event in Beebe, so there might be a little comic relief in among the frights. A suggested donation of $1 per person will help the town get closer to its goal of building a water park soon.

Everyone from the region is invited but children under twelve must be accompanied by an adult to attend the CarnEVIL.
