Re­cy­cling ‘su­per­heroes’ of Do­minique-Savio school

The Mem­phré­m­a­gog MRC and the mem­bers of the Comité con­sul­tatif en développe­ment durable (CCDD) re­cently hon­oured the stu­dents of Do­minique-Savio school of Sainte-Cather­ine-deHat­ley for sub­mit­ting a video to the con­test L’ABC du bac, trier c’est un jeu d’en­fant. “The sce­nario was orig­i­nal and amus­ing. This high qual­ity video per­fectly achieved the ob­jec­tive of our con­test, which was to in­form the pop­u­la­tion on the best way to sort waste ma­te­ri­als,” said the mayor of Austin and the pres­i­dent of the CCDD, Lisette Maillé.

The video called “Les su­per­héros du tri”, star­ring Com­postGirl, Re­cy­clManm and BadPoubelle, can be viewed at­ The school re­ceived a gift cer­tifi­cate of $250 for Bi­blairie GGC from the CCDD as well as the use of a bus to visit the in­stal­la­tions of the Régie de récupéra­tion de l’Estrie from the mu­nic­i­pal­ity of Sainte-Cather­inede-Hat­ley.
