slug­gish econ­omy didn’t have any af­fect on the gen­eros­ity of the pop­u­la­tion who re­sponded to the call from the CHUS Foun­da­tion for the fourth edi­tion of the an­nual tele­vi­sion fundraiser Au coeur de la vie. A lit­tle more than the an­nual ob­jec­tive of $6.1 mil­lion was raised and the pub­lic clearly demon­strated their at­tach­ment to the CHUS.

the tele­vi­sion show, Jean-Luc Mon­grain used his tal­ents for the cause, touch­ing the au­di­ence dur­ing the pre­sen­ta­tions of the re­ports on anx­i­ety, chronic pain, tes­tic­u­lar can­cer and oth­ers.

the web, be­sides the three wep re­ports and the health quiz, so­cial me­dias also con­trib­uted to the fundraiser and in­ter­net users could lis­ten to the ra­dio show and watch the tele­vi­sion show.

The suc­cess of the fundraiser was made pos­si­ble through the pro­fes­sion­al­ism and de­vot­ed­ness of the team many employees, doc­tors and re­searchers at the CHUS, as well as about thirty vol­un­teers from the team of the Fon­da­tion du CHUS.
