Record participation in Magog Blood Drive

Stanstead Journal - - NEWS - Magog

In total, 381 donors gave blood during the City of Magog’s 17th blood drive. The objective of three hundred donors was easily passed thanks to a large number of young and first time donors. “Certainly the nice weather played a role in the general increase in donors, but it also seems like the students from the Centre de formation professionnelle Memphrémagog got the word to either give blood or volunteer, which increased the participation rate, especially among the young. It is great news because we count a lot on this next generation to fill the needs that never stop growing,” commented Magog mayor Vicki May Hamm. The mayor and the city’s council members are very proud that so many Magog people responded to the invitation to give blood, proving once more their great generosity.
