Atits an­nual Hol­i­day Get To­gether last Wed­nes­day at Bishop’s Univer­sity, the Dob­son-La­gassé En­trepreneur­ship Cen­tre high­lighted the suc­cess sto­ries of 10 en­trepreneurs who are mem­bers of its net­work of 110 SMEs in the East­ern Town­ships, and also un­der­scored the value of busi­ness men­tor­ships through the pre­sen­ta­tion of per­sonal tes­ti­monies.

The recog­ni­tion evening be­gan with the view­ing of four video cap­sules in which men­tored en­trepreneurs from dif­fer­ent RCMs in the East­ern Town­ships, each in their own way, dis­cussed the ben­e­fits they have ob­tained from their men­tor­ship re­la­tion­ships. To con­clude this trib­ute of the value of busi­ness men­tor­ship, this pre­sen­ta­tion was fol­lowed by on­site tes­ti­mony from Xavier Boilard, Pres­i­dent and CEO of Om­n­imed, and from a men­tor in the Mé­gan­tic group, Jean-Marc Gagnon, with his mentee Marie-Hélène Gagné, Pres­i­dent and CEO of Alé­gria,

It was also an­nounced that the of­fi­cial cer­e­mony for men­tors rec­og­nized through the sys­tem es­tab­lished by Réseau M will be held on a re­gional ba­sis this year and will gather men­tors from the two East­ern Town­ships groups.

The evening pro­vided an op­por­tu­nity as well to shine some light on the achieve­ments of 10 SME lead­ers who are part of the En­trepreneurs Sup­port Net­work. Please Note: No pub­li­ca­tion of The Stanstead
