Operation Red Nose – weekend finishes well for 13,267 Quebecers
The month of December is well under way and the results of the last weekend are impressive: 13,267 drivers were brought home thanks to the precious participation of 9,088 volunteers with Operation Nez Rouge. Of this last number, almost 150 were employees of the Société de l’assurance automobile du Québec who, for one evening, put on the famous red tunics to make the roads safer.
After a night with Operation Nez Rouge, you will surely have stories to tell! Whether you are looking for a new way to celebrate the holidays with family and friends or to meet new people, it is never too late to volunteer in one of the 63 headquarters across Quebec. By getting involved with the big Operation Nez Rouge family, volunteers get the chance to have a unique and enriching experience, returning home knowing that they have concretely contributed to safer roads. Anyone interested in volunteering can fill out a form on OperationNezrouge.com at least 72 hours before the date they wish to volunteer.
All over Quebec, anyone who doesn’t feel like they are in condition to drive can call the Operation Nez Rouge accompaniment service at 1 866 DESJARDINS or by using the mobile app on Smart phones.
