Ver­mont Academy wins lo­cal tour­na­ment

The team from Ver­mont Academy, seen at right cel­e­brat­ing one of their wins, won the Stanstead Col­lege In­vi­ta­tional Hockey Tour­na­ment, held at the Pat Burns Arena over the week­end.

Stanstead Col­lege’s var­sity girls hockey team is now ranked first in the NAPHA league (North Amer­i­can Prep Hockey As­so­ci­a­tion). They have a record of 13-5-1 with 83 goals and only 19 goals against, (num­bers be­fore the Ex­eter tour­na­ment which the team won).

The var­sity girls play at home in the Pat Burns Arena to­day, be­gin­ning at 3:00 pm, against the team from Kim­ball Union Academy.
