Minor injuries in Magog accident
Officers of the Regie de police de Memphremagog received a 911 call at about 1:30PM on January 19. A lone 36-year old woman was driving when she went off the road and hit the ditch as she was heading south on Georgeville Road near the intersection of Lanahan Street in Magog. The airbags were deployed, and the vehicle came to a stop on a private property about 30 meters from the impact. The woman mentioned pain in her hips and chest, and was transported by ambulance to the CHUS in Fleurimont. Police believe snow and ice on the road are the probable causes of this accident.
