Big investment in Sherbrooke roads
The City of Sherbrooke will be investing $3.2 million to repair many of its roads this year. Twenty-two re-surfacing projects and twenty-nine re-loading projects, distributed all over the territory of Sherbrooke have been chosen.
The projects chosen will reflect the new direction adopted by the Sherbrooke municipal council last November. This direction, suggested by the city’s Service de l’entretien et de la voirie, will lead to a reduction of manual paving on arteries and on ‘collector’ streets. It will also help in the reduction of maintenance problems on high traffic roads and on gravelled roads.
Among the twenty-two resurfacing projects will be the projects of Galt West and Saint-Esprit, Galt East, between Longpré and Lachapelle in the Fleurimont Borough.
