International Women’s Day Banquet
- Spring Awakening
The LDWC (The Lennoxville and District Women’s Centre) is happy to once again have the opportunity to celebrate Women in our community with its annual International Women’s Day Banquet on Friday, March 18th at 5:30pm in the Amédée-Beaudoin Community Centre (10 Samuel-Gratham Street in Lennoxville).
This year, we are celebrating 35 years in our community and looking forward to the blossoming years to come. So, with this in mind, and the idea of reaching out further, we are calling this year’s banquet Spring Awakening.
Come as you are, or dress for spring (pastels, florals, hats etc.) Let’s put a little colour back in our days, and bring on the gardens of spring. We are now taking reservations and accepting donations for the auctions, which help to offset the cost of the evening. Both the Silent Auction and Celebrity Auction promise to surprise and delight so bring a little cash to play with! Dinner has been ordered. Dancers have been booked. Décor has been planned. Now all we need are the Dames.
Join the celebration! Invite your girlfriends, bring your own wine and make a night of it! Be sure to RESERVE, as space is limited
**The LDWC is committed to providing services to all women in the Estrie region, regardless of their financial situation. If the only thing stopping you is the cost of tickets, please contact us to make arrangements!
