One of today’s most up-and-coming contemporary ballet choreographers, New York-based Jessica Lang is known for creating visual feasts packed with dynamic multimedia and emotional connectivity. Enriching and inspiring global audiences by immersing them in the beauty of movement and music, Lang’s dance company has enjoyed rapid success performing at the nation’s most prestigious venues including the Brooklyn Academy of Music, Jacob’s Pillow, New York City Center, and the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts.
In her February 24, 2016 review, Laura Bleiberg of the Los Angeles Times refers to Lang’s work as “a more serious and intellectual cousin of the hallucinatory dance company MOMIX.” Sarah Kaufman of The Washington Post says Lang has “a gift for conveying emotion with exquisite simplicity”.
