Local bakery has best bread
Just looking at the smiles on the faces of the clients after they have picked up their daily bread at the Les Vraies Richesses bakery, in Stanstead, you know the bread baked there has got to be exceptional. The judges of the prestigious Montreal edition of the "Concours Meilleur Artisan Boulanger utilisant des produits certifiés biologiques" certainly believed so, naming Jean-Pierre Oddo, of Les Vraies Richesses, as the baker of the “Meilleur pain salé a la farine Khorasan” (salted Kamut flour bread) in Quebec.
The event, put on by the Meunerie Milanaise in collaboration with Aliments du Québec and the Expo Manger Santé et Vivre Vert, took place on March 11th at the Montreal Palais de Congres.
The purpose of the "Concours Meilleur Artisan Boulanger utilisant des produits certifiés biologiques" is to promote and recognize the artisans who invest their talent and their time to perpetuate the art of baking using natural products.
