Police find meth pills
The Sherbrooke police service would like to warn the public that there have been several cases of breaking and entering in several areas of the city recently. The events can occur any time of day or night but more frequently occur at the end of the afternoon or in the evening. The public is being asked to lock their doors and windows, paying particular attention to sliding doors and windows, and to keep the access points around their homes well lit.
The police need the public’s help to fight this kind of crime. The “Surveillance de quartier” program is a way to help the police fight breaking and entering. This program can be found in every borough of Sherbrooke. For more information about the “Surveillance de quartier” program residents can call the Division securite de milieu at 819 8226080.
In 2014, there were 524 reports of breaking and entering in homes received by the Sherbrooke police service.
