Sher­brooke’s city-wide garage sales soon

Res­i­dentsof Sher­brooke will not have to get per­mits for their garage sales if they are held on one of the Grand Tournee (city-wide garage sale) week­ends. From now on, hold­ing a garage sale dur­ing the event will be free and there is no reg­is­tra­tion dead­line. The city-wide garage sales will be held in the bor­oughs of Fleu­ri­mont and Bromp­ton on May 21st and 22nd; in the bor­oughs of Len­noxville and Jac­ques-Cartier on May 28th and 29th; and in the bor­oughs of Rock-For­est-Saint Elie-Deauville and Mont-Belle­vue on June 4th and 5th. An in­ter­ac­tive map of all the sales will be main­tained free of charge, but par­tic­i­pants will have to add their ad­dresses to it on­line to be on the map. Those who don’t use the in­ter­net can call their bor­ough of­fice for help. The map will be avail­able at sher­­tes­de­bar­ras.
