Sherbrooke fire­fight­ers be­gin safety vis­its

The city of Sherbrooke’s fire pro­tec­tion ser­vice (SPCIS) will be vis­it­ing 7,800 res­i­dences be­tween now and Novem­ber, 2016 on its ter­ri­tory. Dur­ing the roughly fif­teen minute visit, the fire­fight­ers check smoke alarms, fire alarm sys­tems and car­bon monox­ide de­tec­tors. They will also of­fer free bat­ter­ies to res­i­dents whose alarms are not work­ing.
