Tribute to gardening in Georgeville

Stanstead Journal - - FRONT PAGE -

A large crowd was at Studio Georgeville, last Saturday, for the vernissage of the exhibit Country Gardens Then and Now. The exhibit will play special tribute to the Bigelow Pioneer Garden and will run until June 12th. “In celebrating the Bigelow Pioneer Garden in Georgeville, the exhibition was very much a community event. There was a terrific turnout for the vernissage, and the mood was decidedly buoyant! I think that the gardenthemed artwork as well as the real plants, watering cans, and the like made everyone feel that it was spring inside, if not outside,” commented Louise Abbott, one of the participating artists and the president of the artists cooperative.
