Bargain garden mulch from Sherbrooke

Stanstead Journal - - LENNOXVILLE NEWS - Sherbrooke

For the first time, Sherbrooke residents will be able to pick up chipped wood in bulk, which can be used as mulch in gardens to prevent weed growth and moisture loss, from the city of Sherbrooke. Those interested must call the Michel-Ledoux eco-center at 819 8226010, between 7:45 am and 2:30 pm, from Tuesday to Thursday, to make an appointment. The cost is $5 per load, however much the resident can load into their vehicle in 45 minutes. No tools or manpower is provided by the town to help with the loading. Citizens must have their own trailer, bags or containers to take away their chipped wood.
