The Gov­ern­ment of Canada sup­ports the ren­o­va­tion of the Old County Court­house in the vil­lage of Knowl­ton

Through this ren­o­va­tion, the Old County Court­house in Knowl­ton will be able to of­fer its vis­i­tors a mod­ern­ized en­vi­ron­ment that is well-an­chored in the dig­i­tal age." - The Honourable Mélanie Joly, Min­is­ter of Cana­dian Her­itage "On be­half of the Brome County His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety, I want to thank Cana­dian Her­itage for their sig­nif­i­cant fi­nan­cial sup­port for the restora­tion of the Old County Court­house. This project is the first phase of a multi-year plan to pre­serve and pro­tect the So­ci­ety's build­ings.
