The organizing team is already enthusiastically planning the 2016 Townshippers’ Day (T-Day), the 37th annual celebration of the English-speaking community of the historical Eastern Townships, to be held in beautiful Brome, Quebec, on Saturday, September 17. The organizing committee invites individuals and organizations to participate as exhibitors, partners and supporters, in this key community event focused on showcasing the creativity, heritage and vitality of English-speaking community. Since 1979, this bilingual family-friendly cultural festival and information fair unites the English-speaking and French-speaking communities in the region, through dance and music, arts and crafts, activities and food. Organized by Townshippers’ Association, a non-profit community organization, and the Town of Brome Lake, in collaboration with Brome Village and West Bolton, this year’s event is returning to the Brome fairgrounds, 345 Stagecoach Road. It’s time for artisans and exhibitors to reserve their tables for this year’s Townshippers’ Day on September 17th, in Brome for the second year in a row. Exhibitors Attracting more than 4,000 visitors last year, T-Day provides a valuable opportunity for artisans to showcase local products, and for companies, organizations and institutions to introduce their services or activities to the community.
