A new tem­po­rary ex­hibit at the Sher­brooke His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety

The Sher­brooke Hus­sars and Le Musée rég­i­men­taire Les Fusiliers de Sher­brooke are proud to present the tem­po­rary ex­hi­bi­tion “The Sher­brooke Hus­sars, more than a reg­i­ment. 150 years of Tra­di­tions and Loyal Ser­vice”. The Sher­brooke Hus­sars are cel­e­brat­ing the 150th an­niver­sary of their foun­da­tion in 2016. For the oc­ca­sion, dif­fer­ent col­lec­tions have been put to­gether to make you travel through time and ap­pre­ci­ate the dis­tin­guished his­tory of this proud reg­i­ment. Noteworthy, and for the first time, The Mor­ri­son Fam­ily’s Sher­brooke Hus­sars Lin­eage Col­lec­tion will be pre­sented. This col­lec­tion is the big­gest known pri­vate col­lec­tion of Eastern Town­ships reg­i­men­tal badges that cov­ers more than a 200 year span. Come and learn more about the re­gional mil­i­tary her­itage and this still ac­tive and greatly rec­og­nized ar­moured reg­i­ment of the First Re­serve of the Cana­dian Army Forces in the Amer­i­can-Bil­trite room of the Sher­brooke His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety from May 20th to Oc­to­ber 31st, 2016. The His­tor­i­cal So­ci­ety is lo­cated at 275 Duf­ferin Street, in Sher­brooke.
