A new temporary exhibit at the Sherbrooke Historical Society
The Sherbrooke Hussars and Le Musée régimentaire Les Fusiliers de Sherbrooke are proud to present the temporary exhibition “The Sherbrooke Hussars, more than a regiment. 150 years of Traditions and Loyal Service”. The Sherbrooke Hussars are celebrating the 150th anniversary of their foundation in 2016. For the occasion, different collections have been put together to make you travel through time and appreciate the distinguished history of this proud regiment. Noteworthy, and for the first time, The Morrison Family’s Sherbrooke Hussars Lineage Collection will be presented. This collection is the biggest known private collection of Eastern Townships regimental badges that covers more than a 200 year span. Come and learn more about the regional military heritage and this still active and greatly recognized armoured regiment of the First Reserve of the Canadian Army Forces in the American-Biltrite room of the Sherbrooke Historical Society from May 20th to October 31st, 2016. The Historical Society is located at 275 Dufferin Street, in Sherbrooke.
