Hat­ley Canada Day Theme An­nounced!

“Hat­ley at its Best” is the theme for this year’s 108th an­nual Canada Day cel­e­bra­tion in Hat­ley on Fri­day, July 1st. Float mak­ers and all the other pa­rade par­tic­i­pants should keep this theme in mind if they want the chance to win some of the cov­eted prize money!

The Hat­ley Canada Day pa­rade will be­gin at its usual time, 11:00 am, fol­lowed by the open­ing cer­e­monies at noon. Other at­trac­tions in­clude ar­ti­san ta­bles, a sword-danc­ing demon­stra­tion, the North Coun­try Swingers, chil­dren’s games, a pet­ting zoo, cir­cus cor­ner, wagon rides, lo­cal mu­si­cians and more. Weather per­mit­ting there will also be fire­works in the evening.
