Min­is­ter an­nounces ma­jor fund­ing for Cegep de Sher­brooke

Higher Ed­u­ca­tion Min­is­ter He­lene David was at the Cegep de Sher­brooke, last week, to visit the col­lege’s CEREFS in­stal­la­tions (Cen­tre de recherche et de for­ma­tion par sim­u­la­tion). Ac­com­pa­nied by Saint-Fran­cois MNA Guy Hardy, the Min­is­ter re­ceived a guided tour of this first, Fran­co­phone col­lege teach­ing lab­o­ra­tory equipped with state-of-the-art sim­u­la­tors, even tak­ing part in a sim­u­la­tion of a birth.

While there, Min­is­ter David dis­cussed sev­eral points such as the study pro­grams and pri­or­i­ties for the com­ing year with the school’s ad­min­is­tra­tors. She also an­nounced an in­vest­ment of more than $6 mil­lion in col­leges in the Estrie re­gion, with $5,396,800 of that money go­ing to the Cegep de Sher­brooke.
