New help for Memphremagog export businesses
The Memphremagog MRC and the Carrefour Quebec international (CQI) recently concluded an agreement to favor the referencing of businesses in the Memphremagog region to the CQI’s aide program for exportations.
In the agreement, the MRC will finance Memphremagog businesses who qualify up to 50 % of the costs of services from the CQI. The two organizations will work in collaboration in order to qualify and refer admissible businesses to the services.
“The MRC wants to be proactive for businesses on its territory and offer them access to the best expertise there is, in order to respond to their particular needs,” commented Jacques Demers, the prefect of the Memphremagog MRC. “Exporting businesses or those who want to launch into this adventure know how difficult it is to target markets outside of our borders and to put in place good strategies to market their products. We hope that by working with the CQI experts they will attain their international business objectives.”
The services offered by the CQI are varied and help with the preparation of a business plan for potential clients, learning about international marketing, transport and customs, and intellectual property.
