Coat­i­cook busi­ness on Cuban Trade Mis­sion

Abusi­ness from the Estrie re­gion, JM Cham­peau, is part of the Que­bec del­e­ga­tion on a trade mis­sion in Ha­vana un­til Septem­ber 16th. Also tak­ing part in the mis­sion is Pre­mier Philippe Couil­lard, Min­is­ter of In­ter­na­tional re­la­tions and La Fran­co­phonie, Chris­tine St-Pierre, and the par­lia­men­tary assistant to the Min­is­ter of the Econ­omy, Sci­ence and In­no­va­tion, Saul Polo. Stanstead res­i­dent Har­vey Stevens is also at­tend­ing as a rep­re­sen­ta­tive of JM Cham­peau.

“The JM Cham­peau en­ter­prise has the will and the tal­ent to cre­ate part­ner­ships in the do­main of con­sumer goods which will con­trib­ute to the eco­nomic de­vel­op­ment of the Estrie. They will also profit from this unique op­por­tu­nity to tar­get new busi­ness pos­si­bil­i­ties and es­tab­lish col­lab­o­ra­tions with Cuban en­ter­prises,” com­mented the Min­is­ter of the Estrie re­gion, Luc Fortin.

“I salute the work ac­com­plished by the team at JM Cham­peau. This fam­ily en­ter­prise si­t­u­ated in the Sain­tFran­cois rid­ing dis­tin­guishes it­self with avant-garde tech­nolo­gies,” said Saint Fran­cois MNA Guy Hardy.

The Que­bec del­e­ga­tion is com­posed of 43 busi­nesses spe­cial­iz­ing no­tably in the con­struc­tion, tourism, life sciences, com­mu­ni­ca­tion and information tech­nol­ogy and food sec­tors.
