RPM officer acquitted of all charges
Sgt. Philippe Savage, of the Regie de police Memphremagog, has been acquitted of the charges of dangerous driving and armed assault and will return to his duties. As in all court procedures, the RPM does not comment on judges’ decisions, in this case that of Judge Serge Champoux. The incidents that led to the charges took place in the parking lot of a business on Sherbrooke Street, in Magog, on April 19th, 2015.
