Police searching for a driver involved in high-speed hit and run over the weekend
Police in Halifax are looking for a driver involved in a highspeed hit and run this weekend.
According to a release, Halifax RCMP say the incident occurred Saturday at 3 p.m. on Hwy. 102 inbound, between the Hammonds Plains and Larry Uteck exits in Bedford.
The suspect vehicle, a newer model blue-green Kia Soul, struck a white Ford Fusion, then fled the scene.
Police say the suspect was travelling at a high speed, and traffic flow was heavy at the time.
The suspect vehicle would have sustained front-end damage.
Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call Halifax RCMP at 902-490-5020, or send an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers.
