Canasil de­nies Pan Amer­i­can is su­ing the com­pany

CANASIL RE­SOURCES Inc. has be­come aware of me­dia re­ports ap­pear­ing in Stock­watch and Street Wire con­cern­ing an ac­tion com­menced against it by Pan Amer­i­can Sil­ver Corp. with re­gard to a March 24, 2009, op­tion agree­ment on the Es­co­bar prop­erty in Du­rango state, Mex­ico.

Canasil has not been served with the ac­tion as this mat­ter is cur­rently un­der dis­cus­sion be­tween the par­ties. Should Canasil be served with the ac­tion, it will vig­or­ously de­fend it.
