If there’s one thing that you need to install this month, it’s Tado, with its super-smart thermostat system; we’ll show you how to adjust your home’s heating to perfection.

Hot or not

The Tado Smart Thermostat should be the heart of your heating ecosystem. Its simple interface enables you to quickly check and adjust the heating for this zone, and without having to even open your phone. Tado tracks weather conditions and learns the characteristics of your home to heat it more efficiently. If you have the Tado Extension Kit installed (which is needed if you have no room thermostat or have a wireless thermostat set up), you can add a hot water zone to the Tado app, provided you have a separate water tank.

To gain fine control over your home’s heating system, you need the Tado Smart Radiator Thermostat. It can be installed horizontally or vertically, and it can be mated to any sort of radiator (as long as there’s a thermostatic valve). Each device creates an individual zone within the Tado app, enabling you to set the exact temperature for each room. The heat level is displayed on the thermostat, and you can quickly adjust the level of heating by turning the head.
