In Ottawa and Gatineau, the Alexandra Bridge walkway will be laid with sod to create picnic spots for The Interprovincial Picnic on the Bridge overlooking Parliament Hill and the Ottawa River. This year also happens to be Montreal’s 375th birthday so celebratory events, attractions and commemorations will stretch from the St Lawrence River to the top of Mount Royal.
