Salary men, fam­i­lies and col­lege stu­dents fuel up on okonomiyaki, a fluffy pan­cake stuffed with seafood, eggs, meat, cheese, or green veg­gies and topped with fish flakes, sweet soy sauce and Kew­pie may­on­naise. Half the fun of or­der­ing the 24-7 treat is see­ing it made. The other half is eat­ing it, us­ing a small spat­ula to cut the thing up, scoop up the sauces, and get it to your lips. In Dō­ton­bori, one can deepen ones’ flu­ency in okonomiyaki at Hozenji Sanpe (1 Chome−7−9) or Ai­ji­noya (1-7-16).
