Glasgow Scottish Highlands

Taste & Travel - - Destinations - by NATHAN FONG

I WAS SURPRISED TO LEARN THAT CHICKEN TIKKA, one of the most ubiquitous items on Indian restaurant menus, originated in Glasgow. Aside from this interesting fact, I was impressed by the diversity of the food scene in the United Kingdom’s third largest city. Sometimes overshadowed by her historic sister Edinburgh, Glasgow has a unique charm of her own, with a lively cultural scene, Victorian and Edwardian architecture and various redevelopments along the banks of the River Clyde.
