Adult hockey league accepting registration until Oct. 1
The Amher st Adul t Hockey League is preparing for another season of action.
Registration is open until Oct. 1.
Cost is $ 325 for players and $ 175 for goalies.
The fee includes 30 regular season games, up to six playoff games, insurance, officials and other league responsibilities.
The league is open to everyone age 19 and over.
All players will be entered into a draft that will take place a week before the start of the season – tentatively set for Oct. 8 or Oct. 15.
There will be a walk-in registration session at the Amherst Stadium on Sunday, Sept. 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Money can be e-transferred to amherstadulthockeyleague@ gmail. com.
Players must be paid in full by Oct. 1 to be entered into the draft.
There will not be a spares list this season due to the time it takes to manage the list.
Anyone who wishes to play, but can only make some games for work or other reasons, contact a league official to see what arrangements can be made.
