Ram­blers in Mi­ramichi Satur­day night

AMHERST – The Amherst CIBC Wood Gundy Ram­blers are on the road for two weeks.

On Satur­day they’re in Mi­ramichi to play the Tim­ber­wolves, and next Fri­day they’re in Truro for a 7 p.m. con­test against the Truro Bearcats. The Ram­blers re­turn home Nov. 18 at 7 p.m. to host the Val­ley Wild­cats, and then host the Bearcats on Nov. 19 at 2 p.m.

The Ram­blers were in New Glas­gow Thurs­day night for a game against the Pic­tou County Weeks Crush­ers. Re­sults for the game were not avail­able be­fore the Amherst News went to press.

Be­fore last nights game the Ram­blers stood in third place in the Eastlink South Di­vi­sion with 18 points, six points be­hind both the South Shore Lum­ber­jacks and the Yar­mouth Mariners.

Truro has 16 points, the Crush­ers 15, and the Wild­cats seven.

Also be­fore last nights game, Ram­blers cap­tain Jor­dan King led the Ram­blers with 23 points, eight goals and 15 as­sists, Liam Con­rad was sec­ond with nine goals and 10 as­sists, Daw­son Gre­nier was third with four goals and 11 as­sists, Brady Grif­fin-Hef­ford was fourth with seven goals and six as­sists, and Jake Barter was fifth with four goals and six as­sists.
