Please be advised that the ice breaker is scheduled to be in Glovertown in the next week or two. We are unsure of the exact date. This will leave an open channel between the shipyard and the tickle. Please use extreme caution when traveling on the ice especially around the shipyard area. Glovertown Festivals and Special Events Committee Seeking New Members The Town of Glovertown has recently made changes to the role of the Glovertown Recreation Commission. The new name of the committee is the Glovertown Festivals and Special Events Committee. We are looking for new members. The deadline for interest will be Friday, March 31, 2017. If you wish to be

Our second spring book fair will be held on April 3-4. The theme of
this book fair is “Happy Camper.” There will be a variety of items to purchase, such as books, pencils, posters, etc. We would love to see parents and students enjoying the love of reading. Class times will be sent home by the homeroom teacher. Let’s have “S’more Fun with Books!”
Parent-Teacher interviews K-12 Report Cards will be sent home on March 31. K-12 interviews between parents and teachers will take place on Thursday, April 6, 1-4
p.m. and 6-8p.m. Grade K-6 appointment times are indicated on the back of your child’s report card. If you are unable to attend your
interview because of work commitments please call Donna Stead, School Secretary, before Wednesday, and we will try to schedule another appointment for you. Appointments will be scheduled in 10-minute intervals. Please note, there will be no school for K-12 students in the afternoon on April 6. Dates to Remember March 31 — Kinderstart – 9:30 – 11:30 am.
