Valard Construction advises the public of planned transmission line stringing activities in the area of and crossing the Trans-Canada Highway near Whitbourne throughout the remainder of September.

Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to obey traffic control personnel and signs.

Members of the public may hear a noise similar to a shotgun blast and see a flash when the mechanism used to join the wires has operated.

Transmission line work will be ongoing between Grand Falls-Windsor and Soldiers Pond until November and motorists are asked to please obey traffic control personnel and signs.

Valard Construction apologizes for any inconvenience and asks for your cooperation to ensure the safety of everyone.

Keeping people safe, day in and day out, is the most important thing we do.
