Our Interview

The Beacon (Gander) - - News -

It’s really quite bizarre when you are part of an interview

And the person asking questions, is asking them about you

Why do you write, where did this love come from? Who are you really, and has writing changed who you’ve become?

And in my mind, I’m thinking not of what I have to say

But what attracted him to Gander and what interests makes him stay

A question or two I ask while hundreds dance in my head I shake myself softly and once again listen to what’s been said

Many miles separate our countries and yet he says we are alike

And I’m again thinking hmmm...my interest he did spike

Once more I talk of myself my tongue it can’t stay still

While curiously I watch him as I observe his listening skill

I think I could chat forever, as I tell him things I’ve never shared

His easiness made me know, he listened and he cared

So although you came to interview me and my tales I did tell

I think I got to interview you too, and that was kinda swell

Please be gentle with your story of me and things I had to say

Concentrate on my writing and the happiness it brings me each day

May your ideas take you on journeys and your story telling increase

That allow your person skills to bring to you an inner peace

And share your stories of others, so many are out there to be heard

Many are unable to put passion like you do to their word.
