Borys scores four in Braves win over Mounties
Josh Borys scored four goals to lead the Tavistock Braves to a 5-1 win over the Paris Mounties Friday night. Two of Borys’ goals were shorthanded, including an emptynetter late in the third period. Jake Wiffen added a power-play goal and an assist. Angus Rowland picked up a pair of helpers.
Benjamin Cripps replied for Paris. Jensen Van Boekel made 23 saves for the Braves, and Mounties goalie Sam Roy stopped 26 shots. Tavistock went 1-for-10 with the man advantage, and Paris was 0-for-10. The Braves improved to 13-1-0-2 and are third in the Doherty Division.
