Bogdon’s five goals helps Hawks snap skid
Jarret Bogdon’s five goals helped the Mitchell Hawks snap a four-game losing streak Friday night in
Bogdon scored twice in the first and second periods before finishing his night with another tally in the third as the Hawks beat the Flyers 7-3.
Jamie Shoemaker had a goal and assist, and Blake Pickering added a single marker. Dalton Smith had four assists, and Luken Van Pelt picked up a pair of helpers.
Curtis Laviolette made 21 saves in the win.
Chad Treble scored twice for Goderich, and Matt Bean scored the other goal. Brandon Bean stopped 20 of 25 shots before Jacob Abbott took over and made seven saves.
Mitchell improved to 10-8-1-0.
