The Aces improved to 4-3-1 after their 3-1 win on the road. Strong backchecking by Grace Laverty early in the first period produced a turnover that sent Josie Walker streaking down the ice. Walker scored to give Stratford an early lead. The Aces doubled their lead when Kylie Fifield blocked a shot that led to a quick breakout, which resulted in Avery Faulhafer setting up Taylor Need for the goal.

Stratford increased its lead while shorthanded when Fifield threw a shot on net that deflected off an Attack defender and in. Ava Neumeister kept the Attack off the board with a pad save on the penalty kill.

The teams traded scoring chances in the second period, and the Attack finally scored with 7:13 left in the frame. Great hustle by Devan Taylor, Katie Helson and Alanah McIlroy helped shut down breakout chances by the Attack, preserving the two goal advantage.

Stratford sealed the win in the third period by maintaining possession of the puck while shorthanded and preventing Lambton from pulling its goalie until it was too late.
