An investigation into an allegation of fraud at the Coady International Institute has resulted in the RCMP laying charges against a resident of Antigonish County.

James Edward Marlow, 53, of Lower South River has been charged with theft over $5,000 and fraud over $5,000. The charges against Marlow are the result of a complaint made to the Antigonish RCMP in July 2018.

Marlow is scheduled to make his first appearance in provincial court Dec. 19. Don’t miss any events happening in your community. See page 23.
