Fifty-five players have registered for the Pickleball for Hospice Tournament this weekend at St. Clair College’s Thames Campus HealthPlex. They’ll play Friday from 6-9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Spectators are welcome. Admission is free. Proceeds go to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation. The tournament is run by the Chatham-Kent Pickleball Club. A celebrity pickleball event at 12:30 Saturday will include Chatham-Kent-Leamington MP Dave Van Kesteren, Chatham-Kent-Essex MPP Rick Nicholls, and some Chatham-Kent municipal councillors.
