‘The Fol­lies’ re­turns to the stage Sun­day

– Friends Un­lim­ited at Trin­ity-St. Stephen’s United Church in Amherst is pre­par­ing for its an­nual Spring Fol­lies, that will take to the stage in Burgess Hall, Ratch­ford Street, for a one-night per­for­mance March 28.

This per­for­mance will be the 20th show for the group, and this year it is a trib­ute to hats in “Hats Off ”.

Those at­tend­ing are in­vited to get into the theme of evening by don­ning their favourite hats.

The evening will

in­clude skits, singing, danc­ing, and jokes, pre­sented by mem­bers of the group. As well as the en­ter­tain­ment, the ‘Friends’ will be serv­ing desserts, tea and cof­fee.

The show will get un­der­way at 7 p.m. Sun­day evening. Tick­ets are avail­able at the church of­fice, or by phon­ing Glo­ria at 667-9298.

Friends Un­lim­ited meets so­cially at the church once a month for an evening of potluck meal and games. Mem­ber­ship is over 50, and new mem­bers are wel­come.
