Fam­ily at­tends an­niver­sary

Spring break is over and the yel­low buses are again on the road. Hope all en­joyed the nice weather dur­ing this time.

Wil­son and Edith Hun­sley came and I went to Parkview Restau­rant, Ox­ford, with them on Tues­day evening. This was a sup­per to hon­our grand chief of the Mar­itime Pythian Sis­ters, Mar­garet Gil­roy, who later at­tend the meet­ing of the Ox­ford Pythian Sis­ters.

Wed­nes­day I was on the road again to at­tend Lit­tle River Bap­tist Ladies Cir­cle. In the evening I ac­com­pa­nied Vi­vian War­wick to No­mads meet­ing in Amherst.

Norma Tower was col­lect­ing for the kid­ney foun­da­tion on Wed­nes­day.

He­len and Rick Estabrooks, ac­com­pa­nied by Erma Estabrooks, vis­ited the War­wicks on Mon­day evening prior to them leav­ing on their va­ca­tion. Diane Wood, Riverview, N.B., came to stay at the Estabrooks’ home to look af­ter the pets.

Nora Nauss, Bridgewater, was an overnight guest with John and Vi­vian War­wick on Thurs­day. Vi­vian en­joyed lunch at the Parkview Restau­rant with Ma­bel Lowther, Nora Nauss and Arnold Bark­house be­fore Nora re­turned home that day.

Diane Wood vis­ited with her mother, Elda Lowther, on Fri­day. Also, pas­tor Karen and Bur­ton Doucette vis­ited.

David and Pat Tay­lor, Sus­sex, N.B., were week­end vis­i­tors with her par­ents, Del­bert and Lil­lian Carter. They were guest speak­ers at the Nazarene Church in Ox­ford on Sun­day morn­ing.

Fam­ily mem­bers at­tend­ing the 60th an­niver­sary of Smith and Eleanor Archibald, Mid­dle Musquodobit, on Sun­day were Dorothy Bowser, Gerry Smith, Phyl­lis Sweeney, Fredericton; Bea and Bill Bowser, Amherst Shore; along with friends and neigh­bours, a full house in­deed. This was an en­joy­able oc­ca­sion. Con­grat­u­la­tions also to Clarence and Eva Reid, Truemanville, on their 70th an­niver­sary.

Sheila Thomp­son was guest of hon­our at a pot luck lun­cheon held at the home of Jean and Ver­non Mitchell, Amherst, on Tues­day to cel­e­brate her birth­day.

Dar­rell and Sheila Thomp­son vis­ited with son, Greg and fam­ily, War­ren, on Satur­day night.

Sym­pa­thy goes out to the fam­ily of the late Gerry Burkhart of Ox­ford.

Elda Lowther was a sup­per guest with Diane Wood on Fri­day at the home of Rick Estabrooks. Also at­tend­ing were Erma Estabrooks and Jean Mor­ri­son.

On Sun­day, the three ladies came and had sup­per with Elda Lowther while John and Vi­vian went to Truro. They cel­e­brated brother Dick­son’s birth­day. Fam­ily at­tend­ing were Deiter and Krista War­wick with their girls Bethany and Bri­anna, Ox­ford, Bill War­wick and Kayla, Truro; John and Vi­vian and Mother War­wick.

Bethany and Bri­anna War­wick vis­ited their grand­par­ents on Fri­day while par­ent Deiter and Krista War­wick were out for the evening.

Joyce Carscad­den, Amherst, vis­ited with her mother, Olive Jack­son, on Sun­day. af­ter­noon.
