County farm­ers may top pro­vin­cial av­er­age

NAP­PAN — The over­all agri­cul­ture in­dus­try for Nova Sco­tia doesn’t look all that good for 1981, ac­cord­ing to Nova Sco­tia Min­is­ter of Agri­cul­ture and Mar­ket­ing Roger Ba­con.

How­ever, Cum­ber­land County farm­ers will be happy to know that they are ex­pected to do bet­ter than the pro­vin­cial av­er­age and the rea­son for this is that blue gold crop, namely blue­ber­ries.
